Child Safety Standards

Motogram is a community app for motorcycle riders. It carries user generated content and private messaging, so it needs a clear, published position on child sexual abuse and exploitation. This page is that position. It applies to every rider, every post, every status and every message on Motogram, everywhere the app is available.

1. Zero tolerance for CSAE

Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any other child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) are absolutely prohibited on Motogram. There is no warning, no strike system and no appeal for a first offence. Specifically, the following are banned:

• Creating, uploading, storing, linking to, requesting or sharing CSAM in any form, including drawn, animated or computer generated depictions.
• Sexualising a minor in a post, comment, status, profile, group or private message, including text.
• Grooming, sextortion, or any attempt to make contact with a minor for a sexual purpose.
• Trafficking a minor, or advertising, soliciting or facilitating any of the above.

2. Motogram is an 18+ app

Motogram is built for adult riders and accounts are not open to anyone under 18. The app asks a rider their age when a profile is created and refuses anyone under 18 at that point. We do not knowingly allow a minor to create an account. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, that account is removed and its data deleted. If you believe a minor is using Motogram, please tell us at the address in section 6.

3. Reporting inside the app

Every rider can report content and people from inside Motogram, without leaving the app and without contacting us first:

• Report is available on feed posts, comments, 24-hour statuses, chat and group messages, and on a rider's profile.
• Block is available on any rider's profile and from Settings. A blocked rider disappears from your chats, feed and statuses, and cannot reach you.
• Reported content is hidden from the rider who reported it immediately, so nobody has to keep looking at it while the report is reviewed.
• Reports are written to a private area of our database that no other rider can read. Reporting someone never exposes who reported them.

Child safety reports are treated as the highest priority and are reviewed ahead of everything else in the queue.

4. What we do about it

• Content that violates section 1 is removed as soon as it is identified.
• The account responsible is terminated, along with any other account we can associate with the same person.
• Confirmed CSAM is reported to the relevant national authority. In India this is the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in) and, where the reporting obligation applies, to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
• We preserve the associated records as required by law so that an investigation is possible.

5. Compliance

Motogram complies with the child safety laws that apply to it, including the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (POCSO) and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it. Motogram also follows Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and the Play Developer Program Policies. We review these standards regularly and update this page when our practices change.
